1. Introduction

Manifesto ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when you use our manifestation practice app and website.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly when you create an account or use our services:

  • Email address (used for account access via magic link)
  • Name (used to personalise your experience)
  • Onboarding responses (goals, experience level, techniques)
  • Practice data (session completions, affirmations, scripting entries)
  • Payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we never store card details)

We also collect usage data automatically, including pages visited, features used, and device/browser information, to improve the product.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve our services
  • To personalise your practice and recommendations
  • To send transactional emails (magic links, receipts)
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions
  • To analyse usage patterns and improve the product
  • To comply with legal obligations

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

  • Supabase — secure database and authentication infrastructure
  • Stripe — payment processing (subject to Stripe's own privacy policy)
  • Anthropic — AI features (only session-specific, anonymised prompts)
  • Analytics providers — aggregated, anonymised usage data only

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. Payment records may be retained for up to 7 years to comply with tax obligations.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Data portability (receive your data in a structured format)

To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We may also use analytics cookies to understand how users interact with the app. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect some functionality.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted storage, and passwordless authentication. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of Manifesto after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
